DELIVERY INFORMATION
The vast majority of orders received by
Alternative Technology Ltd are
dispatched within 3working days. Despite some stock
fluctuations we endeavor to dispatch all orders within 5 days. In exceptional circumstances where stock is not
available within that period a member of staff will contact
you.
Contract for the Supply of Goods
The display of goods on the Alternative Technology Ltd
Products site amounts to an invitation to treat only and is
not an offer to sell goods at any price indicated. No
contract for the supply of goods will be deemed to exist
between you and alternative technology ltd unless, and
until, an email is sent by alternative technology ltd to you
confirming that your order has been shipped. This
confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by alternative
technology ltd of your offer to buy goods from alternative
technology ltd and this acceptance is effective regardless
of whether or not you receive the e-mail. alternative
technology ltd are free to withdraw from a prospective
contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies
in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the
goods, any description applied to the goods, the
availability of the goods or the order itself. Price and
availability information is subject to change without
notice.

warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its
contents alternative technology ltd disclaims all such
representations and warranties, including for example
warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose. In addition, alternative technology ltd does not
represent or warrant that the information accessible via
this site is accurate, complete or current.
Processing of orders
- Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock with
our suppliers.
- Some items may be unavailable.
- We regret we are not able to supply dates our suppliers
may get an item in stock.
- Shipments to all the rest of the world are not charged
GST.
- Shipments may be subject to local import charges and
taxes, which are the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Weight, the weight displayed for each
product in the site is not necessary the real product
weight. Generally this displayed weight is
Volume/Weight for Air shipping
calculations.

Limitation of Liability
Except as specifically stated on this site, neither
alternative technology ltd nor any of its directors,
employees or other representatives will be liable for
damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this
site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that
applies to all damages of any kind, including (without
limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential
damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage
to property and claims of third parties.
Illegal Acts
It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit
card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous
or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent
of the law. We track the electronic 'fingerprints' of every
order placed alternative technology ltd to enable us and all
legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to
trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on
our website.
Governing Law
All purchases from alternative technology ltd are subject to
the New Zealand law. alternative technology ltd reserves
the right to modify these terms at any time without prior
notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be
effective from the date and time of posting on the
alternative technology ltd site.
Returns
You may return any product for a full refund within 20 days
of delivery providing that it is in perfect resalable
condition. Your refund will include the value of the order,
but will not include the cost of carriage from us to you.
You will be liable for the cost of returning the
merchandise. We will be happy to arrange for a carrier to
visit your home/premises and collect any returns but will
pass the cost of this onto you.
By resalable condition we mean the product
has to be unused and in it's original packaging. We will not
accept returns for example if a product's box has been torn
or damaged. Should any item be delivered in an
unsatisfactory condition or should there be any shortages,
please notify us within 2 (two) working days and we will
rectify the situation. Any product which is not fit for the
purpose intended due to a manufacturers defect will be
replaced or you will be offered a refund. We will cover the
cost of the goods being returned from you to us in this
instance. For any further information on returns please
contact us.
Currency
All prices in alternative technology ltd website are in New
Zealand dollars only.
